How do pay monthly websites work?
Toolbelt Websites plans can be paid monthly or annually. All plans have an initial 12-month minimum term. Monthly customers pay each month; annual customers pay upfront and receive 12 months for the price of 10. The package includes the agreed website service, hosting, SSL, routine maintenance, security, support and the features included within the chosen plan.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There are no setup fees on One Page, Starter, Growth or Pro. £0 setup is the normal Toolbelt Websites model, not a temporary promotion or waived fee.
Is there a large upfront website cost?
No large setup payment is required. Toolbelt Websites uses a subscription model so customers can choose monthly billing or pay an annual subscription upfront for the 12-for-10 annual rate.
Do you guarantee Google rankings?
No. Every Toolbelt Websites package includes professional SEO foundations appropriate to the website, but no legitimate provider can guarantee a specific Google position. Search visibility depends on many factors and can require ongoing SEO work over time.
Do you create location pages?
Where genuinely appropriate, yes. We do not mass-produce thin or duplicate town pages simply to target search terms. A dedicated location page should have a legitimate reason to exist, reflect an area the business genuinely serves and contain useful original information such as relevant services, projects, photographs, testimonials or local knowledge.
What does Google Business Profile setup & optimisation include?
Growth and Pro include initial profile creation where required, business information, appropriate categories, services, service areas, website connection, opening hours, business description and optimisation of an existing profile. If Google requires owner verification, we will guide you through that step. Ongoing monthly posts, review management and ongoing GBP SEO are not included in the website subscription.
Do you write the blog articles?
No. Growth includes publication of up to 4 customer-supplied articles per month and Pro includes up to 10. We handle upload, basic formatting, supplied images and publication. Article writing, keyword research, SEO content creation, extensive rewriting, image creation and ongoing content strategy are separate services.
Can I update the website myself?
Toolbelt Websites is a fully managed website service, so customers do not need to manage the website through a website builder or technical admin system. Send updates, images, article submissions and support requests to Toolbelt Websites and we make the agreed changes for you.
What counts towards my monthly website update allowance?
Your allowance covers reasonable changes to the existing website, including text edits, replacing images, service updates, contact details, opening hours, team information, minor content or layout changes and copywriting work where appropriate. The allowance resets each billing cycle and does not roll over. Major redesigns, extensive new functionality, separate SEO campaigns, work on another website and substantial standalone development sit outside the normal allowance. Standard additional pages use the separate £10 + VAT per page per month pricing rather than being deducted from the update allowance.
Is SEO included?
Every Toolbelt Websites package includes SEO Foundations: clean structure, sensible URLs, metadata, heading hierarchy, image optimisation, sitemap and indexing setup, mobile optimisation, technical fundamentals and sensible internal linking. Growth and Pro add more local-search structure. Ongoing SEO campaigns such as regular SEO content, link building, citations, competitor analysis, continuous optimisation and rank tracking are available separately through Local SEO.
