Krystal has more than one DNS-management route. The correct one depends on how your domain and hosting are set up. Do not assume every Krystal account uses the same interface.
If DNS is managed through the Krystal Client Area
- Sign in to the Krystal Client Area ↗.
- Select DNS Records in the left-hand sidebar.
- If Krystal says the domain is not yet set up for DNS, do not create a new zone unless that is genuinely part of the requested configuration. Contact Toolbelt Websites support if you are unsure.
- Open the existing DNS zone for the relevant domain.
- You can then view the records in that zone. Krystal's DNS Manager can create or edit records such as A, CNAME, MX and TXT.
If DNS is managed through cPanel
- Open the cPanel account that hosts the domain.
- In the Domains section, open Zone Editor.
- Find the relevant domain and select Manage.
- The Manage view shows the current DNS records. Use Edit only on the record you have been asked to change.

Not sure which Krystal DNS area applies?
If you cannot tell whether the authoritative DNS is in Client Area DNS Records, cPanel or another Krystal platform, stop before editing records. Contact Toolbelt Websites support and we can help you identify the correct DNS location.
Do not reset the DNS zone
Do not create a replacement zone, reset the zone or delete unrelated records just because the interface looks different from this guide. Krystal supports multiple hosting/DNS contexts and the existing zone may contain important email and verification records.
