Getting Started

How do I send additional images, files or information to Toolbelt Websites?

Use the onboarding form for your initial website material. If you later need to send additional files or exceed the onboarding upload allowance, contact Toolbelt Websites support and we will give you the appropriate secure upload route.

The initial onboarding form is the best place to send the material you already have because it keeps the business information and assets together at the start of the project.

Use onboarding first

Upload the relevant logo, photographs and other requested material through onboarding where possible. This gives Toolbelt Websites a clearer starting point and reduces unnecessary back-and-forth.

If you need to send more later

Projects evolve. You may find additional project photographs, receive a new logo version or realise that an important document was missed from onboarding.

If you need to send additional material or the files exceed the onboarding upload allowance, email support@toolbeltwebsites.co.uk.

What to include in your email

Please include:

  • your full name;
  • your business name; and
  • a brief explanation of what you need to send.

That is enough for Toolbelt Websites to identify the project and give you the right next step. If the material relates to a particular page or section, mention that as well.

We can provide a secure upload link

Toolbelt Websites can then provide a secure upload link for the additional material. You do not need to create a third-party shared folder simply to get extra website files to us.

Use the link provided for your project; you do not need to understand how the upload service works behind the scenes.

Make the material easy to understand

Useful filenames and a short note can save confusion. For example, kitchen-extension-after.jpg is easier to understand than IMG_8462.jpg when several projects are being supplied together.

If a photograph is intended to show a specific service or completed job, say so. For guidance on choosing usable imagery, see Should I use stock photographs or my own images on my website?

Do not include passwords in ordinary file notes

If the information you need to provide is actually a login credential rather than normal website content, do not casually place the password inside an email or document upload. See How can I securely provide login details? instead.
