Why are service pages useful to customers?
Someone looking for boiler repairs should be able to reach a page that explains that service without digging through one enormous general Services page. A focused page can cover what the service involves, who it is for and how to enquire.
Why are they useful for search engines?
A dedicated page gives search engines a clearer topic to understand. It can contain relevant headings, supporting information and internal links without mixing several unrelated services together.
Examples
A heating company might have separate useful pages for Boiler Repairs, Boiler Installation and Underfloor Heating. An electrician might have pages for Rewiring and EICR Testing.
Does every tiny service need a page?
No. Create dedicated pages where the service is commercially important and there is enough useful information to justify a page. More pages do not automatically mean better SEO.
A genuinely important service often deserves focused content when there is enough useful information to help a customer understand that service. That does not mean manufacturing thin pages for every keyword variation or minor service: a page should exist because it provides genuine value.
