Where should I look first?
Check the inbox for the billing email address associated with your Toolbelt Websites account. Stripe can send invoices, receipts and other payment-related messages to that address.
If you are expecting a billing email and cannot see it, check your spam or junk folder as well.
If somebody else in your business normally deals with accounts, make sure you are checking the billing address registered for the Toolbelt Websites customer record rather than assuming the invoice was sent to your everyday website or enquiry email.
Can I view billing information securely through Stripe?
Where appropriate, Toolbelt Websites can provide a secure Stripe-hosted route for viewing relevant billing information, including invoices and payment history available for your account.
The route is hosted by Stripe, so you are not being asked to send payment-card information to Toolbelt Websites.
This is useful if you need a copy for your accountant, want to confirm whether a particular subscription payment was successful, or simply want to check the billing history against your own records.
What if I still cannot find an invoice?
Contact support@toolbeltwebsites.co.uk with your business name and the invoice or payment period you are looking for. We can check the billing record and help you locate the appropriate information.
You do not need to send bank statements or card details simply to ask for an invoice. If we need anything else to identify the account, we will tell you what is required.
What if invoices are going to the wrong email address?
If the billing email on the account is no longer correct, ask Toolbelt Websites to change it. We update both the Hub customer record and the corresponding Stripe customer record so they remain aligned. See how to change your billing email address.
