Additional pages are not automatically bespoke development
A normal additional website page has its own pricing and should not automatically be treated as bespoke development.
A standard additional page costs £10 + VAT per page per month. That recurring charge includes creating the normal page and keeping it included within the managed website service.
The normal page creation is not additionally deducted from your website update allowance, and Toolbelt Websites does not also charge the £50 hourly development rate for an ordinary additional page.
What a normal additional page looks like
A normal additional page is generally a standard internal, service or information page of up to approximately 800 words and up to approximately 5 content sections. Examples include another service page, an additional About or information page, or another straightforward internal page.
The 800-word figure is a practical scope guideline, not an SEO target. A page should contain the amount of useful content the subject actually needs.
When a page becomes additional development
If a requested page needs extensive custom layouts, a significantly more complex structure, substantial new functionality or other bespoke development, it may fall outside the normal additional-page scope.
The same applies to wider requests such as custom integrations, complex calculators or quote tools, booking systems, major redesign work or other substantial new functionality.
How additional development is charged
Where suitable additional development is required, it can be charged at £50 + VAT per hour, billed in 15-minute increments. Toolbelt Websites will assess the request and explain the likely scope before substantial additional work begins.
Website updates are a separate allowance
Routine changes to existing website content are handled separately. Reasonable updates can include text edits, image replacements, service or contact-detail changes, opening hours, team information, minor content or layout changes and reasonable copywriting work.
